Our heritage breed pigs are born outdoors (no farrowing crates, ever!) on our farm and allowed to live a life as close to their natural habitat as possible. We make sure they've got plenty of protection from the rain and wind in winter and shade or wallows to cool off in all summer long.
We've been buying quarter- or half-hog boxes from Campfire Farms for 7+ years now and their pork is our favorite thing in the freezer. Quality and flavor are top notch. At this point we literally won't order pork chops at a restaurant anymore because we know we have tastier, juicier ones at home. I love knowing that the pigs and land are well cared for.

Best pork we’ve ever had
I first had an opportunity to have Campfire farms pork in my MooMaw farms meat subscription. The chorizo was so delicious we decided to try their 1/4 pig subscription and everything we’ve ate, has confirmed that we will move to the 1/2 pig once we’ve ran out. It’s only 40 minutes away and it continues to be the best pork products we’ve ever ate. We love to support local farmers, and look forward to supporting them for years to come.
