Our chickens are raised entirely outdoors, allowed to scratch and peck at the grass and soil from just a few weeks of age. Conventional chicken breeds that are used to climate control and high-octane feeds don't thrive in our natural setting, so we raise a breed called Freedom Rangers. They take a bit longer to mature and are more expensive to produce, but we like their heartiness and "chicken-y" flavor! Rest assured, there are no added hormones or antibiotics used in our poultry production.

I stopped eating chicken from the grocery stores because it wasn’t healthy. I can say that this chicken tastes like chicken used to taste before CAFO farm production took over our food supply. Will stick with Campfire Farms forever!

Delicious chickens!
Instead of cooking a turkey, I made two chickens- so much less stressful! Everyone said it was the best meal they'd had in a long time and even asked where I got the chickens because they were so good.
