Our heritage breed pigs are born outdoors (no farrowing crates, ever!) on our farm and allowed to live a life as close to their natural habitat as possible. We make sure they've got plenty of protection from the rain and wind in winter and shade or wallows to cool off in all summer long.
I've bought shoulder roasts from Campfire a number of times, and am always thrilled. No matter what I am making, these are delicious and just what I am after in a pork shoulder -- and I am happy knowing the pigs were happy, too. 10/10, no notes.

The flavor of the meat was good with that being said it was all fat. The meat that was on there was probably enough to feed one person. Unfortunately I will not order this again.
